Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has authorized a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the shooting.

Orman, who said the death appears to have resulted from the “most extreme” case of child neglect he’s seen in nearly a quarter-century in law enforcement,

canvassed the two-story house and was taken aback by the stark contrast in living conditions between the victim and her brother and Davis’ three biological children.Whereas Davis’ children — ages 18, 17, and 7 — lived in bedrooms with typical
furnishings for a suburban upbringing, Orman said, the room where the victim and her brother stayed was in utter disrepair.
